Kate Fullam, Executive Director of the East End Food Institute in South Hampston, NY.
Kate is an innovator and big picture thinker who enjoys bringing together diverse groups to solve societal challenges. Her wide range of experience with local and regional issues related to environment, economy, science, and human health are well suited toward helping nonprofit organizations reach their potential. Prior to joining East End Food Institute in 2018, Kate built her career at Group for the East End, Southampton Hospital (now Stony Brook Southampton Hospital), and most recently at the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University. To complement nearly two decades of experience, Ms. Fullam holds a Masters degree in Nonprofit Administration. She is an appointed member of the Southampton Town Planning Board, Suffolk County Food Policy Council, and New York State Urban and Rural Food Procurement Advisory Group. Her wide range of experience with local and regional issues related to environment, economy, science, and human health are now united toward the goal of creating a more sustainable and equitable local food system.

Keisha Rainey, Local Produce Coordinator for the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association in Pittsboro, NC.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Keisha moved to Columbia, South Carolina, as an adolescent. She completed a degree in business administration from Newberry College. Keisha has experience in the foodservice industry, financial institutions, and assisting different industries running their business operations. In 2019, she found her passion when working for the South Carolina Department of Agriculture. There Keisha held several titles, including fruit and vegetable inspector, peanut grader supervisor, GAP consultant, and hemp compliance inspector. She lives in Lexington, SC, and enjoys the diversity agriculture offers as well as engaging with farmers and being part of helping them be successful. In addition to joining CFSA, Keisha has also been accepted to the Palmetto Leadership Program for the Environment, Agriculture, and Forestry through Clemson University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her significant other, Jason, and their 14-year-old son, Timmy, along with their two fur children, Sanford and Mattie. They enjoy working in their beginner garden, watching movies, NASCAR races, and eating good food.

Lana Chehabeddine, Local Food Project Coordinator & Assistant Programs Manager for Florida Organic Growers in Gainsville, FL.
Lana is a visionary food systems leader and business owner of Honeybee Consulting and Design. She holds 8+ years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, where her reputation has been built for project management, relationship-building, and implementing effective modes of communication. Lana is currently the Local Food Project Coordinator and Assistant Programs Manager at Florida Organic Growers, where she is leading an initiative to build a well-connected and effective local food system across the state of Florida. Her artistic roots have led her to open her own design and communications company, consulting both individuals and businesses. Lana holds a master’s degree in Food Systems and Society, from Oregon Health and Science University, where she completed a thesis on the nationwide empathy deficit and its impacts on the food system. As an advocate for social equity and food justice, Lana is actively contributing to the latter two objectives by enhancing our modes of communication and understanding, facilitating innovative and collaborative projects on human rights issues, and activating our human ability to empathize.
