Event Description
In this peer-learning session, Sarah Highlen, founder of Grapevine Local Food Marketing, will guide the group in a conversation on hiring practices and other topics related to running a consultancy.
Sarah was inspired to launch Grapevine Local Food Marketing in 2016 after helping a farmer friend with marketing and watching her sales triple. Grapevine's small remote team serves non-profits, government entities, farms, and other local food folks with marketing strategy, website development, Google marketing, email/SMS, advertising, graphic design, social media support, and more. Sarah and team have invested significant energy in refining their hiring process over the years and she'll share a few of their challenges and takeaways.
This session is by invitation-only to those listed in the Community Food Systems Consultants Directory. It will not be recorded so that attendees can feel comfortable sharing among each other.
